

Lance Stanbury
Lance Stanbury is a retail property management consultant with a track-record of launching and managing numerous large-format shopping malls across Europe, the Middle East, the Far East and North Africa. He is founder and principal lecturer of the internationally acclaimed Mall Management Masterclasses® which he has delivered internationally over the past 12-years.
Lance worked for the international real estate consultants Cushman and Wakefield as their Shopping Centre Development Director for over ten-years. This took him throughout Europe setting up the pre-opening management, launching activities and post-opening asset management operations for malls in Albania, the Czech Republic, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Turkey, Syria and the UK.
He was director of the UK’s number one recruitment consultancy specialising in shopping centre recruitment where he recruited centre management staff for numerous regional schemes. He was operations director for a UK facility management company where he developed an international division to provide specialised security solutions to shopping centres in Europe. He founded his own retail property management consultancy Mall Consultants Ltd., in 2009.
Qualified in leisure management and with a degree and diploma in shopping centre management from the College of Estate Management in Reading, England, Lance started his career in leisure management setting up and operating a wide variety of facilities include theatres, cinemas, concert halls, exhibition venues, nightclubs, bowling and family entertainment amenities.
Lance is a member of the British Council of Shopping Centre’s (Revo) Customer Experience Committee and he is also a judge for the BCSC’s “Achieving Customer Excellence” annual awards.
He was also elected and served as a leader of a municipality in England and as a Non-Executive Director of an NHS Hospital Trust. He lives in Cambridge and London.
